Book Talk: You should discuss a recent book you have read. You should write at least 4 sentences about the book. Blender Cooperation

Sometimes people focus their comments and energy on negative things when they describe or tell about other people. It is also possible to look inside and think, " What can I do as a person to make a situation better? How can I help the group?"

Blender Valentine Appreciations

It is almost Valentines friends! I invite everyone to think of all the positive people you have in your life and to post an appreciation to them. It would be an amazing thing if the Blenders, past and present... and their friends and families could see 500 appreciations! Imagine all the good will and good feelings we could put out toward others! Think of at least two people to write an appreciation for. Remember to post your REAL name! Happy Valentines Day! I so appreciate all the people who together make the Blenders.

Presentation is over and I am at the last couple of workshops. I am a bit on the tired side and I can't wait to be home in Ashland! I hope everyone has a great weekend... comments??? Presentation Madness or NOT?

I can honestly say that I feel nervous, excited and ready for my presentation. I feel like I imagine many of you do before your Independent Projects... nervous about how I will do and excited because I know what I know... I will post after the presentation. I had a bit of confusion with some of my clothing... my dress pants have gone missing... and I know all is good. It is another beautiful day in Portland and at the same time, I am ready to be back in Ashland with my friends, family and of course, the mountains! Later...

Thursday Afternoon in Portland

Hello everyone from sunny Portland... It has been a beautiful day here and I can't wait for my run. I am still at the workshop and am learning about Powerpointlessness... what is the point of your presentation? That is what I am thinking about my presentation tomorrow. I am a bit nervous and am still making changes to my Powerpoint. I went to several very interesting workshops today and I am hearing a lot of interesting ideas...

What is the weather like?

I am having a great day learning about digital photography and blogging. When this is done, the blogging class, I am going for a run along the Willamette River. I am going to dinner with a college friend I have not seen for 25 years! I am going to be presenting a class on the Blenders on Friday.
