Blender Camping Trips
The Blenders are fortunate to be able go at least one camping trip every year. The Eldest of Elders go on a 4 day back packing trip on the Rogue River Trail. Please share some experiences from past trips... things that have made you laugh and smile.
I have so many fond memories from so many special trips. I especially love the times we gather for the "talent" shows and the children share so many of their talents. Last year I remember Sabrina coming up to the piano and saying, I have a song I have been working on." She then began to belt out "Ain't Misbehavin'" There were so many lovely moments last year. I am so looking forward to another great experience getting to know you all.

The funniest thing will always be the trip to Crater Lake. Avi and I put up our rickety summer tent and we proceeded to be dumped on by a blizzard of rain and snow. The water was seeping in and I remember staying up all night using winter coats to sop up the rain on the inside and praying that the tent wouldn't collapse under the snow. The next morning we scarfed down the french toast and hightailed out of there right after the Bandas. The other funny thing I remember is adopting Sasha and Aisha when they were 8 years old and watching them put up their tent all by themselves and I couldn't get mine up.
What my mom said
I liked setting monster traps.
When i was in first grade Ryan and me went to my camp site and we had a big fire. and we started throwing stuff in the fire and daceing around it like weird people.
i liked riding my bike on the camping trip.
i liked the trip last year when brielle let me use her roller blades to ride around some tree

Last years campout was fun
The funnest camping trip was last year. Because i loved to go
I baried my self in the sand at the beach.Me and some of my friends made a hot tub in the smith river.It was also fun when we went into a halow tree to get in the tree we had to cral in a little hole to get in we also slide downa tree It was fun.
And that was my camping trip at the Jetidia smith.
I liked the food, siting on lynnettes lap.And geting adopting by Heather.

I'm really exited about the camping trip this year because last year it was really fun.
The funnest camping trip was last year. Because I loved to go swimming in the beach. After the hike we get to go into the beach. Last time there was a big boulder and we climbed it. I am happy we get to go.

I liket it.Going out on the big tree and sliding on it was really fun.I want to climb trees. I am lookig forward to the hike to find and eat chocolate. I am sad I can't bring my game boy. Maybe I'll sneak it.I want to ride my bike.
last year i liked the talent shows and going down to the lake. it was fun when we ate waffles and got to help make them. the chocolate that the gnomes left for us on the trail was really good. exploring the grove was cool, i almost fell off a big log into a bush. we also went to a different lake and i fell in.

the camping trip.
I'm looking foreward to the red wood camping trip. I like to ride my bike in the loop road and go to the beach and swim. It is also fun to find frogs and toads and catch them.

we went to the red woods last year and we went on a hike and we found chocolate from the chocolate gnomes .and we had a talent show. There was a biking circle.i had fun biking and hiking and looking for chocolate bars.
We went to the beach. I learned how to ride my bike there.

My favorite part of last years campout was swimming. The water was really cold! Some other people thought it was cold too.
Last year we went to the Red Woods.
And the things I remember mostare were I sang a song from Germany in German. And I pold my dad on the back of my Bike. The thin I remember most is that we did the chickin act. We also went on a hike and the gnows hide chooclate for us. In seckent grade we went champing at crater lacke. I WAS SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO SO FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked when Amy and I were down at the river and Shadow my dog was sniffing behind a rock.
i am really exited about going camping with the class again. i am looking forwared to playing touch football and riding bikes and drinking hot cocoa. i wish we could go for the school year. i also hope that we will go on that path with the chockolate bars too.
Last year was my favorit camping trip.After dinner when my dad and Brielles dad were washing dishs Brielle and I were down at the River Shadow (Brielles dog) was snifing into a bush will Brielle and I were playing in the water when Shadow came over she barked we knew somthing was wrong we went back to Brielles tent to get a some Chesepuffs becaus we were Hungery
we went back to the river on the way there we went past a bush we herd a rattle we thought it was a gruop of people we danced to the beat and we got closer to the noise then we went by the bush then we sreamed becaus it wasent a gruop of people playing stuff it was a RATTLE SNAKE!!! we ran away with shadow we went to my campsite becaus we thought it wont follow us that far.And that was my favorit camping trip.

I liked last years camping trip. It was very fun and I liked riding my bike around and spendiing a day at the beach.The sad thing was that I coundent go swimming last becuase I forgot my bathing suit.I also liked going on a hike and picking up chocolate,spending nights by the campfire and having a great time.
I loved the camping trip because of the hike when you get chocolate, the talent show, the beach, the morning breakfast, riding bikes, playing with friends, finding out who your neighbor is and climbing trees.

Hi Blenders, 11 years later (2017). It would be cool if Mark or someone still had pics from some of these camping trips, to reminisce in the nostalgia.
